Custodian In-Home Services was founded in Melbourne Victoria, to fill a gap in the community for people aging at home.

At Custodian we aim to provide quality individualised centered care for all people who have preferred to age in their homes instead of moving into aged care facilities or retirement accommodation.

Our services cater to clients from diverse cultural heritage. Clients are government-funded through MyAgedCare, or privately funded. We also cater to clients transitioning from NDIS due to age (65years+).

Custodian In-Home Services' goal is to provide holistic care based on each client's needs, with an understanding that each person is an individual with different medical, cultural, and religious needs. Custodian will accomplish individualised holistic care for our clients with the collaboration of the clients, their families, and the custodian team.

Our Staff has industry experience and certification that enables them to provide individualised care to all our clients.

The Custodian team includes Registered Nurses, Case Managers, Social workers, Support workers with experience in the aged care sector.

The Custodian team is multicultural and able to cater to diverse clients including those from CALD communities. Our team members come from a culture of empathy and kindness and are equipped to provide the best in-home support services.

My aged care funding

My Aged Care Scheme is an Australian Federal Government initiative that provides funding for people choosing to age at home. MyAged care is rolled out across all States and Territories to improve the lives of people aging at home.

There are three levels of funding provided by the government. The funding is based on individual funding needs and the services that each individual needs at every stage of their aging process.

Level 2 Low Care needs - $18,622.30 a year

Level 3 Intermediate Care needs - $40,529.60 a year

Level 4 High Care needs - $61,440.45 a year
